Default [Help] Stuck at bootscreen

Hi all, I just received my nookcolor (1.0.1) today and rooted it using autonooter without any issues. After playing with it for a few hours, I decided to upgrade to CM7. So I copied Phiremod 6.2 to my microsd card together with folders for wallpapers, icons, etc, went into Rom Manager, installed clockworkmod recovery and flashed the Phiremod rom.

All seemed to go well, but now my nookcolor is stuck at the nookcolor devs bootscreen (with flashing 'color'). This went for for a few minutes and I restarted the tablet with the same results twice, with and without the sd-card.

Have I soft bricked my tablet? Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Default Solved

I managed to get it fixed by following the instructions here:

http://www.inspiredgeek.com/2011/05/...locking-guide/

In case other newbies encounter the same issue, I realised that I didn't do step 3 (in the website above) in Rom Manager but managed to get into CWM in the recovery screen and Selected "Mounts and storage", "format system" and "format data".

The tablet booted up very quickly with a new wallpaper and a nice screentip.

So phew, I thought I'd bricked my tablet. I can hardly believe how much easier it is to root and flash a new Rom for the nookcolor compared to my android phone! Thanks developers and XDA friends!
