Default [Q] Simultaneous voice and data

Can anyone confirm whether or not the Charge is capable of simultaneous voice and data?

If so, is it while on 4G only, or, like the Thunderbolt, can it do while in a non-4G area?

Searched around Google and get conflicting reports, so hoping someone here can clear up.

Thanks.
Wiping battery stats has the same influence over battery life as waving a dead chicken over your phone does; none, per Google.

The Revolution is the only one so far that can do VoLTE, as for the Charge I have been looking to see if it has SVDO like the ThunderBolt. I had thought at one point it did but now I can't find that info.

True VoiceOverLTE ("VoLTE") does not exist yet. Should be functional in late 2012.

Correct, Verizon isn't supporting it yet, but the LG Revolution has completed the first test call and it is capable of VoLTE, but again until Verizon supports it, its mute.

Oh, really? I actually wasn't aware of that.

Thanks!

No sarcasm received , but here is an article about it http://www.slashgear.com/verizon-com...work-09132406/ but the long term is where the focus has to be on getting these features in every LTE phone.

You are correct, the Thunderbolt is the only phone on Verizon that can talk and web over 3G. I thought I would miss it by giving up my Thunderbolt to my wife but southern California where I live is well blanketed with 4G and I'm in LTE coverage most of my daily usage.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm really back and forth on whether I want one or not. I've always used the "no simultaneous voice and data" as a reason not to switch to Verizon. The Thunderbolt took away that excuse, so I took the plunge, but I miss the SAMOLED screens, especially when outside.

I probably don't use voice/data at the same time as much as I think, but I know the times in the past when a friend on Verizon couldn't get a picture or email I sent while we were talking on the phone were very annoying.

Verizon's keeping me from getting one anyways, when the heck are they going to release the darn thing?

What part of SoCal you in? LTE is strong in most places I frequent, but some places, like Santa Clarita = no LTE. My work takes me to that area often enough that it's a concern (for example, I'm on a project near Magic Mountain for the next two weeks).
