hey everyone, I am new to android, and also the SGS2, I have a 2 part question

when installing the apps it installs it in the 16GB space or the smaller 1-2 GB space on the SGS2.

also is there an option to install on the microsd card?

Search in market for Apps2sd.

It installs to the 16GB space and you can transfer some apps to the SD card by default if the author has decided to enable the feature, or as jonrwg said you can move any app to the SD card with Apps2SD but don't move widgets or live wallpapers as they will no longer work on startup.
