[Q/REQ] Why is a WP7 Lockscreen unthinkable?

Hi dear android community,

My question is: why is a WP7 Lockscreen for Android quite unthinkable?

In threads like this often people ask for that kind of lockscreen but the answer is: no one did that yet.

Is it so difficult? I think no sourcecode, even if we had it, could be used for android development right? Therefore one had to write this program from the beginning?

I so eagerly want that lockscreen :/

Correct me, but i think this kind of lockscreen is possible to build with widgetlocker.

It looks like a full screen transparent status bar pulldown with an image on it to me...

Hmm, I have widgetlocker but am unable to customize it to make it look like the WP7 Lockscreen.

Yes, something like this...with nice looking date and time...nothing else I ask for

Look at galaxy s 2 lock screen
Its like that except screen can be unlocked by swiping the screen anywhere..
hopefully we can port it or something really like it.

Cool, thanks. Yes, since this lock screen is closer to get a port to any other android I'm hoping for that...maybe I ask around in the S2 section for someone to extract it.
