DONATE TO ME
Default secphone.apk

secphone.apk is probably used for call record related apps. I had a custom phone.apk and phoneutils.apk installed on my sgn for call recording and it worked great. As soon as i removed secphone.apk, it started giving errors. So i am not 100% sure, but probably its used for recordings.

Exclamation Social Hub

For those who want to remove the Social Hub:

If you want to remove Social Hub but still want to use the Email app you would want to keep the Social Hub with the @ logo, i mean SevenEngine.apk (com.seven.Z7); That one is linked to the Email Email app, it automatically gets the correct emails server settings.

Also IM is linked to the part of Social Hub with Instant Messengers functions, if you need those do not remove the IM app.

The Gmail app is not linked to the Social Hub so it can be removed without loosing Gmail in Social Hub.

SNS is embedded in TW-Launcher. You have to switch the launcher app if you want to disable SNS or keep them activated if you want to use TW.

I don't know what it's for but it is save to remove/disable (for me, I don't use any Samsung apps or services). Maybe there is interaction between this service and other Samsung apps.

Exactly for this reason I stopped using TW.
Instead I installed Apex Launcher (should have done this sooner, I love Apex Launcher).

ROM: Latest CM10.1 Nightly | Kernel: CM10.1 Stock | Modem/RIL: XXLS8

I totally agree with that. Though i'm using Nova Launcher (Prime) which is nearly the same as Apex Launcher and the Device feels so much smoother and faster. Love it!

Default My deactivated system apps in ICS (Goatrip 4.8)

I spent plenty of time into indentifying 'useless' (for me) standard SGS2 apps and just made some screenshots of the system apps i deactivated without any restrictions in comfort, functionality or stability. It is a mix of an extensive internet research and good judgement. Maybe some of you find it useful:

edit: Remote Controls 1.0 is safe to disable as well (I guess it is part of Samsungs proprietary remote location service)
