I made this becuase i had no idea that my tablet had this defect untill i saw pics of iton another device so i made this hope you enjoy.

This is easy as you can see above around the edges there is light spilling in.

So I now know I have screen bleeding. Not as bad as the one in that photo though.

Would Vodafone replace it? Would it effect the life of the screen?

Vodafone have to replace it.

But they probably don't have any that don't suffer this defect.

Unsure about screen life, it shouldn't but it might.

What I want to know is why so many of these have screen bleeding. I feel like Samsung just didn't care when distributing this tablet, and wants to put their focus on the 10.1

Peppermint (Sonygen Mod continuation.): Alpha 1 coming by June 17th.

HTC Status - current. LG Optimus V - retired.

Well I know that when my friends iPhone was insured with Optus and then stolen they replaced it with an iPhone 4.
If we waited till the release of the galaxy tab 10.1 maybe they would replace it with that?

Trade practices act will protect us on this:

They will have to fix it or replace it with something of equal or greater value (Which means the cannot give us a device like the P1000 and say fixed) & fit for purpose (The cannot just hand us a nexus S and say now go away)

In terms of exchange it depends on a couple of factor:

1. Only pluasable if Vodafail stock the new 10.1/8.9 (if there not getting it they cannot exchange it)
2. Samsung cannot fix this (if samsung can manuafacter a fix for this then we will get it fixed)
3. Vodafail don't decide it's not a real issue (It will get taken imidiatly to the ombinsmen if this does happen)

It just wasn't quality tested correctly, apple are the most comman offenders of this but other companys do make these mistakes once in a while hopefully it will get fixed.

We shouldn't make a big deal over it untill we know it's not getting fixed.

Also devices i own that suffer from screen bleeding now i know what it is and how to look for it.
