It worked, but then it made me reactivate. Now I can receive texts and use data, but I can't send texts, or make or receive calls. I've tried to do "update profile," and that just tells me my phone is activated, and that it can be used in fifteen minutes. No luck even after waiting.

Any ideas?

If your on windows 7 x64 bit, go to c:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung Electronics\ you will see a folder called "SWUpgrade for SPH-D720", right click and copy that folder. Then back out of windows explorer until you get to c:\, navigate to c:\Program Files\Samsung Electronics (if you dont have that folder, create it exactly as "Samsung Electronics"), right click and paste the "SWUgrade for SPH-D720 into the Samsung Electronics folder.

Basically, when we install this exe on a x64 bit system, the program installs in the 32 bit folder but is trying to run in the 64 bit. But of course the actual sw isnt in the right directory.

Go to your dialer and input *#*#786#*#* hit Reset and let it reboot

Did not work. Same thing happens. Says it's activated, and then doesn't work.

I'll take it in tomorrow, I was going to anyway.

EDIT: Took it in to Sprint, they had it working in just a few minutes.

It happened to me as well. I had to take it to the store for reactivation. Luckily I also had to send it for warranty cause of the earpiece not working properly.

This would be helpful if you phone won't boot or need to return it back to Sprint. This will take it back to stock.

Thanks! Fyi, it is Sprints policy to take rooted phones.. So even if you can't restore it, they can and will still service them

I used this method to unroot my ns4g to stock but my bootloader is still unlocked how do I locked it with this method. I just don't want sprint to give me problems with the bootloader being unlocked still.
