[Q] Terrible quality in calls

well i have like a month with my SGS and i have the same time listening.. AH? WHAT? i can´t hear u!! can u repeat please? uhm? eh? during my calls

in the begining dont was a big deal, i was just so much happy for make the change from blackberry to android but, i talk a lot with me phone is my essential tool of work im life.. and i mean normal call no wifi no skype no text nothing just a call!!

now a month have been pased and if i listen a ah or what? uhm? im gonna to idk ...... DIE ._.

i was reading on internet and i get a guide in spanish to make it better, this one

Luego yo toquetee:
5 Audio
1 hanset
1 Volumen (aca puse rx volume 100, speech tx volume 83

Luego fui a la opcion 9 Diamond Solution
DYVE Off
Swing Free OFF
Voice Booster ON
COmpoert Noise OFF
Mic TX OFF

but still the same i really disspoint with this, i love android but i cant live like this ._., please help me guys

My first post on these forums... been lurking for best part of week since I got my i9000.

No, you're not alone. I came from a Samsung SGH-i780 to the i9000 and the call sound on this thing seems like youre talking to someone at the bottom of a barrel.

Not sure if there's some mod that could sort it out. I'm still trying to get ready for putting another ROM on it, but can't find backups of my stock ROMs.

Also, it's not like I can't hear them though, but it's just a flat sound.

install the corresponding Voodoo kernel and use the voodoo app from market to configure sound, this should fix your issue.

Its not a service centre if someone knew the answer you get a reply or you WAIT for someone to come along with the answer .


If you have a problem with a product take it back to the seller .

well aparently when i buy my phone in movistar Venezuela, he show on the screen a nice and clean GT-I9000 now the ppl of movistar say to me the phone is a GT-I9000T, and have been flashed a jvb.. so they say to me can be the radio files, im triying looking modem files to install this, but idk my 3G was excelent everytime, its posible? good 3g and bad call? e.e

i cant do anything with movistar i lost my warranty for change the software

but are u using the stock rom in this moment? aperently my problem was using roms of a GT 9000 on a GT-I9000T
