Default [Q] Manual Nooter and B&N Library

I finally got the Manual Nooter 4.5.6 going, and all the apps and everything works great, love it!

My only reason for rooting however, I cannot seem to find an answer to.

I want to move files that I download from the web, into the /my files/books section and have them show up in the library.

I am able to sideload through calibre, no problem, and they show up.

However if I download through Aldiko and move the files over, it won't show up. I don't see what the difference is.

Any help would be great!

Are you sure that you are placing the files in the correct place after downloading them with Aldiko? They have to be in the main memory to see in the library not the SD card. I will wager that Aldiko is downloading them to the SD card which also has a /My Files/Books folder

Yes. I think so. The path to the books is:

/media/my files/books Aldiko does put them on the SD card and Im moving the folder.

Does the my files folder need to be up a level? Thats where Calibre puts them by default. And they are seen fine.

The library will read from /My Files/Books on either internal memory (/media) or the sdcard (/sdcard).

How are you moving stuff? If I put anything in either of those two, the library sees them. Have you done a refresh in the library?

I'm using Astro file manager to move them from the SD card to the internal storage.

I then do refresh the library, and nothing.

I can put a folder, or just an epub, and still nothing. I'm not getting something...if Calibre can do it and the library can see it, the theoretically I "should" be able to just drop one in there.
