As I wrote before... it worked wonders for me:

I should mention that charging time is long... I recon at least 2 hrs for from 0% to 100%.

Is there a way to get a performance comparison between the Mugen battery and this GOLD 2430MAH Japanese one? Thanks

2430mah? so almost DOUBLE the capacity of the original battery, but the same size?!

That's actually physically impossible. If you're lucky this fake "Gold" battery is 1600-1800mah.

My 2430mAh is no match for a two day mugen, but still quite a bit better than the original. In my case appx 50%.

I am afraid all these batteries are produced in Asia, Mugen included. If we assume the Japanese one is truly Japanese, perhaps this latter is better, but I doubt it, due to its unrealistic capacity.

Given the obvious environmental concerns related to the manufacture of batteries in China, I certainly prefer to wait until some good alternative is provided by a German company (usually very efficient in these jobs). ATM there's nothing convincing on ebay and amazon.
If you are in Europe this involves in addition having batteries shipped within the EC and no extra customs' costs!

Just take some research,u will find That mugen is the biggest manufacturer of battery
& every stock battery is from china because all the company build them there for Save money
so if u wait for an european battery well good luck ^^
Just keep in Mind to not buy a batterry on eBay,it can be dangerous
