There's NO NEED to convert back to RFS prior to installing. Where did you get this idea from? If you follow the instructions from the guide, or if you're updating from the release ChainFire provided.... there's no where did anyone mentioning the need to convert back to RFS!

Again, there's no need to convert back to RFS prior to installation. The re-partitioning process in ODIN during the installation of either ChainFire provided solution or Overcome ROM 2.x will handle it already.

Yep... the new rom comes with JPZ Modem and has overwritten your old one.
You can flash back the modem you used on previous Overcome.
Just flash the modem via Odin and you don't loss any data.
Beware to uncheck repartition or you will loose data (see the guide to flash your modem)

Yup, as V6 has mentioned, just do a stand-alone JK3 modem flash (using the modem.bin in the Phone field), no pit or anything in the PDA field necessary.

Yup.... for now.... No voodoo, ext4 or overclocking/undervolting. Waiting for the source codes to drop before alterbridge can work his magic! ;)

It has been integrated by Samsung in the area where we usually apply the GPS fix. Type *#*#3214789650#*#* and you'll see it.

Anyway, applying the old GPS fix STILL helps a lot too!

Hey there!
Got some noob question here
Which modem should I flash with this ROM? The JMF modem or the JPZ modem?
I'm from the Philippines, BTW.
Thanks for the work guys!
(Having two thoughts on updating my 1.6.4 rom or staying on it :\, need help deciding)
