So I downloaded the PDF in the zip in the OP's first post and the link for the "safe stock" ROM and the new OC Beta GB ROM are the same and therefore I only get the OC Beta ROM. Am I the only one seeing this? Where could I grab the "safe stock" file from?

Anyone got SIP working? I can't see the option for it anywhere Nothing under Settings > Call Settings, where apparently I should see 'Internet Accounts'. Nothing under Settings > Accounts either.

Oh, wow! Maybe if you'd spend some time reading the guide, and not just skimming through it, you'd realised I've put many a warnings there...

Look, I've spent a lot of time honing the guide, even taking the time in writing a quite comprehensive, multi-page guide early on, to guide you to the steps needed to back-up your data, even before I present the installation routine... I've even put bright yellow highlights in that section, about moving the data away from your INTERNAL SD to somewhere safe like your PC or to the External SD.... MULTIPLE TIMES!!!

And before I even get started on the installation routine, I put a big RED-BANNERED explanation about the need for re-stocking, and how it'll wipe your system clean of the crap left behind from previous installs.... This issue has also been discussed to death in the old thread, since we instituted restocking... since 1.4.4, where it wipes the internal SD!

This has always been in every version of the Guide since I first wrote it!

... and now you've got the GALL and TEMERITY to imply why somebody didn't even warn you??? Unpleasant surprise for YOU??? And even snapping at another kind soul for offering a suggestion???

At least learn to have the bloody courtesy of READING the instructions that's been written for you, instead of skimming through it only to find the juicy parts you want... and then only complaining, before even having the bloody courtesy to even look back at the guide again, before having the bloody nerve to ask, "Can somebody tell me why...." like we owe you something? Like we've done you wrong in anyway...?

Geez, I've always been told by some people that we should "screw the newbies...", but it's cases like this where I'll still disagree with them, it's people like you, probably the reason why there's the stupid warning labels on everything, in case they didn't know that they're buying hot coffee! It's people like you that drives me nuts!

"Can somebody tell me why did the gb safe package deleted even my internal SD?" indeed! Bloody hell....

Very cool. Thanks PB.

Does anyone's button backlight stay on the whole time their screen is on? Any way to disable this?

Ooop... there's a mistake in the link with the new guide...

Hang on... let me fix it in 2.0.0.b1b and I'll pass it to alterbridge...

its not your fault @thepittbull if the newb didnt read. your guide was awesome and like you said, there were warnings. people dont take the time to read, instead they bitch and moan when something breaks. Keep up the good work and dont let one persons commentary get you down.

@OrionBG, dont complain if you dont read. the guide is only awesome if you read it. if you dont, then dont cry here.

Thanks for the confirmation, mate. I can love with it. Such a fast and smooth Rom. Even the stock browser is fast and smooth. How much better can it get once Alterbridge releases his own kernel?
