[Q] broken ram ?

hi guys

on every system info app that i tried, it shows me only 375 mb ram on foliomod 1.4.
i have tested it on cm7 where it shows the same. on folio stockrom it shows me 445 mb ram.

do i have a defective folio?
or is this normal?

I have the same. "free" and "cat /proc/meminfo" shows 383572KB for "MemTotal" with FolioTNT.

Maybe the rest is reserved for something else?

Yes, in Foliomod some memory is reserved for file system performance tuning

Mine is reported 751MB by foliomod1.4 and stockrom
And 483MB by CM7

really, really strange

currently CM7 cannot see more than 512 mb. It is a known issue on various tablets.

Yes, I heard that some Folios come with 1GB of RAM
