battery not connected screen

when i plug in my intercept id doesnt charge or charges very very slowly. so i turned it off to charge while its off and it keeps vibrating and saying battery not connected??? has anybody else had this issue or know a fix for this?

I'm having the same issue!!! Just got this phone for my mother to use on her Virgin Pre-pay.

Did a factory reset and it's still doing it. Does it charge even though it says it's too hot or too cold????

First make sure the battery isnt gonna blow up check to make sure its flat if its getting round and fat get a new one, I had this problem with my Girlfriends G1.

or take a towel and wipe down the metal pins on the battery and phone and try again if nothing then check to see if the battery is over heating. if still nothing try another plug i guess.
