Does anyone know of a widget to control volume and brigjtness. I was looking for something with sliders.

theres an app for that....its called quick settings....

I apologize if you his understood, I was looking for a widget, something that I don't have to launch an app to use

If you click on the notification tray area and then on the settings icon you get some quick settings like brightness. Works from anywhere in the device. As far as a full on widget for the home screen I don't know. Quick searching in the market Power Control Plus ($1.99) should work. I haven't used it myself.

you can place more than one in the home page, can turn on an doff settings can add short cut to apps can configure the look.....work great
