[Q] No service with XdAndroid

I have XdAndroid up and running on my Us Cellular Touch Pro 2. I can play around a little with it ie camera, home pages etc, but I can't get a signal or connect to my network at all. I was also wondering if there was any way to get apps on it without going through the market, or using android. If for some reason I cant use Android to make calls/ go on the internet I would still like to be able to dl stuff for it and mess around.

I followed the steps on the developers how to use android on a SD card thread and got it going fairly easily, I just cant figure this out, or find the info I'm looking for.

I am a noob at this but I am loving learning how it all works. Thanks in advance for the help!

Try going into your settings in WM to All Settings * Personal * Phone * Network and make sure the mode is set to CDMA only. The FAQ on the various project pages may have more info.

ok i just started using it for the first time and i went to all of those settings and they were set at that but im still comin up dry... it wont give me service and i waited FOREVER! another thing ive used this once befor on a different ROM and i got service within a minute... PLEASE HELP!!!!
