To stop Skype here take Gemini apps manager from market and disable all system events like on boot completed, on connectivity change, on package installed, on wifi connected, etc.
Don't disable unknown events (usually in uppercase) unless you know what you're doing.
Remember that this way you won't be able to answer incoming call when app is not the foreground app and that's the reason for the app to run in background

Hey guys i need a little guidance here..

On step-3 :
Place the CF-ROOT .zip file onto your phone and then open the "CWM" app, once open go to "flash kernel" and point it to that .zip file.

Where do i get the CF-ROOT.zip file? ive done everything fine up to symlink fix and now im not to sure on this part
Is it the same CF-ROOT.zip i used in step 1? (Im on kernel KF2 & before VillianROM also KF2)

Yes, just the zip file from CF-Root thread, post 4, KF2 one...

I presume you are removing the triangle?

Probebly not the right thread but do you guys know how can I change the statusbar bg.
The image is Systemui.apk but it isnt tha same as the phone shows it.
Any ideas ?

You had to look at framework-res too... but why don't you use UOT kitchen for this tasks? It saves you a lot of work

ah actually i was just following the steps to the core, i already installed the latest cf-root before flashing villain rom so i presume i dont need to flash it again.
the yellow triangle doesnt bother me so ill leave it be

and also should i install the modem recommended here even though im not in europe? or should i install the modem based on my location?

if it's not in there then it's in framework-res.apk.
i can't be positive on which one it's in since i've never changed the statusbar itself, just the notification bg (maybe this is what you were referring to). i am positive that it's in one of those two apks though.

A backup is located in /sdcard/VRTweaks/backup/

Rename it to .apk rather than .apk.bak, and then put it in /system/app/ and reboot
