Default Gingerbread keyboard

Anybody has it and tried it on gb tab?

I prefer gb keyboard over the samsung keyboard, so hopefully someone has already tried it.

Use to use it exclusively even on 2.2. I have since moved on to Thumb Keyboard and haven't looked back

What I do love about the GB keyboard is that it doesn't use the whole screen if it doesn't need it. Something I have always hated about the Samsung keyboard is that even in the Google search widget, you click to type and !!BAM!! whole screen keyboard.

I just ran into TSwipe-Pro. The theory is the same as Swipe, but it moves the letters to the right side of the screen and adds a 3x3 cursor control on the left side. Actually works pretty good as the distance to Swipe is reduced. I think it shows real promise. It also includes quite a few different keyboard layout options. So you can set up a right shifted "swipe" on portrait and a thumb keboard on landscape.

I just tried the latest beta version thumb keyboard...I liked the layout variations for 7" tablets. They were great.

Only one prob though, there were no language variants for the keyboard layout. I was unable to get the ä and ö although I was able to use the Finnish dictionary...is this the case or was this just a user error?
