Default No IMEI number [SOLVED]

So something went wrong during an upgrade to gen2, and my phone now has no IMEI number. I found some guides on how to get it back, but they're all in broken English and aren't at all clear. I've done what they say as far as I understand, but my IMEI number is still 0, is there anything I can do to fix this?

I really don't know what's your problem, but if U need your IMEI number, it's really simply: unplug the battery and there it is.. (not on battery but on mobile of course..)

That's not it, my phone doesn't have one. As in, I go into about phone and it shows the IMEI as 000000000

I'd already been looking under there, I found nothing new. however, after a bit of fiddling around myself, I managed to sort out the problem. I'll write a guide of how to do it for anyone else who encounters this problems at some point.

Is your guide ready? I'm wondering how to do this.
