Exclamation [Q] Galaxy Mini + Camera v2.1 App

Hi guys! I'll start of with what I have and what I did.

Hardware:
Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570
Desktop PC
Usb Cable

Software:
OS Froyo 2.2.1 (stock)
Samsung Kies (from included CD)
Super One-Click android rooter
Root Explorer
Super User

Okay so I started installing Kies on my desktop PC first. I set-up my Galaxy Mini in debugging mode, and connected it to my PC using USB-Cable. My phone got installed successfully. I, then, started Super One-Click and clicked "ROOT", and it was successful too. I rebooted my phone to be safe, and Superuser is now available in apps.

Everything is set for modifying the original Camera.apk. So first of all, I navigated to /system/app using Root Explorer and deleted camera.apk and camera.odex. I went to data/dalvik-cache and deleted everything. I copied a new camera.apk (v2.1) to /system/app. I changed it's permissions to rw-r--r--, then rebooted my phone.

To my surprise after following steps from a forum thread, Camera is not shown in my apps. I repeated the steps like 5 times already, have I missed something. But to no luck Camera isn't showing up anymore.

-----------------------------------------------

I thought luckily I backup up the original Camera.apk. I replaced the original Camera.apk to /system/apps again and changed the permission to rw-r--r-- and rebooted. I was shocked that Camera still isn't showing up in my apps.

-What could I have done wrong here?
-Is camera.odex needed for Camera v2.1?
-can someone show me and alternative?

If anyone has experienced this, or have found a way to fix theirs, please, I really need your help.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!
