theres no built in way.. there's also no convenient way. check out LG Optimus TX touch Key Lights ( https://market.android.com/details?i...roid.optimus2x ). Horrible name, I know, but it does what you want.. just not conveniently. what I would suggest is this. go into the keylight app.. back out to home.. launch Kindle.. then use the "hold home key" button to bring up recent apps.. switch back to the keylight app and dim your buttons aalll the way down (this will be system wide.. not just for that app) then hold home and switch back to kindle.. no more lights! hold home to switch back to keylights to turn them back on.

OR

you could do what i did and just dim the keys really low. Mine are at 500... saves battery and not so bright.. you could go lower if you'd like.

Hope I helped!
