Great, now I feel like a jerkoff because I've been donating like $10-20 to chefs.

Well, $50 once to wozzer for getting us started on the Omnia II.

I restored the 1.6 toolkit and spare parts to this but I'm not sure if that was wise.

Known issue. I created a list of them which has been linked at the top of jcase's ROM. Some of which (tether, camera, bluetooth) have been addressed with imo's kernel.

Ha no worries anything is good for these guys for all the work they do. I was slacking on my donating so it was time I did something that made sense.

Hopefully it'll encourage more people to donate something to their favorite devs. They gotta eat (and drink beer!)

Could it be due to the apn fixes you made? I just went back to 1.6.3 because i need this app daily - it works fine on 1.6.3.

Any thoughts on why it failed and if it might work on the new beta?

Thanks,
Eric
This is more likely related to Gingerbread. I published an app that experienced connection issues on GB but worked fine on Froyo. Google changed a few things in the URL Connection code that broke some stuff.

I don't recommend it. There were substantial edits to the same files to make Sense 3.0 work. I'm sure Adrynalyne will release a patch for the new version.
Droid Eris --> Droid X --> Moto Atrix (I hate you AT&T) -->HTC Thunderbolt --> HTC Rezound --> Galaxy Nexus

When this happens I reboot the phone while the charger is still plugged in. Get the current widget app to see when you charging current is low.
Device = HTC ThunderBOLT
ROM = Changing...
Kernel = Imoseyon v(whatever's current) Undervolt

Good point above, failing to wipe going from Froyo to GB will many problems. Factory restore, wipe cache, advanced/wipe dalvik cache.
Do you have to do the radio in hboot or can you flash from SD card in CWR?

Radio has to be done from hboot with the file renamed appropriately.
