Trackpad wake for Sense Gingerbread ROMs

I don't take credit for the mod, it's originally done by SNQ for Desire. Here's his post in Desire section. I just made a small adaptation for the mod in churcial-oj.kl, took libui.so "as is", and tested on my MT4G running RoyalPanache - and it worked.

Please use extreme caution and back up everything before you apply this mod, as it's tested only on my device. There is no easy flashy going back, to go back you'll need to adb push the correct file from your ROM back in place, or reflash your ROM completely.

Feel free to report the results, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do anything if it won't work. It will work for some, since it works for me. I just hope this thread gets the mod going and it'll be polished eventually.



Instructions:
Flash the attached file in recovery.

No wiping should be necessary, and it should definitely work on RoyalPanache. Let me check for a couple of possible reasons and I'll update.

[edit] Ok, just checked and I see that update.zip doesn't update. Will be fixed and uploaded ASAP.

OK, uploaded updated ZIP that I've checked on my device.

In case it still doesn't work, it'll help me a lot to receive the output of the following 2 ADB commands:

adb shell cat /system/usr/keylayout/curcial-oj.kl
adb shell ls -l /system/lib/libui.so
