Cool. Thanks. Going to DL it and give it a try. Even though this old Hero is no longer activated I cant seem to get rid of it or stop messing with it. lol I still love this thing. Works great for an MP3 player and a GPS speedo in the boat.

I have never had service on my HeroC, but always use it for something :P

Just yesterday I got tired of having a box with the Otterbox Defender sitting in my room, I couldnt use it because I have an extended battery+door in use and screw-all going back to stock battery...

SOOOO I went to the garage and picked up the Dremel and cut the back out of the Otterbox Defender case (im a REALLY bad cut btw), and now am just trying to stretch the back plastic outer shell out to fit over the modification without having to cut it!


Now just to learn how to de-odex the ROM and ill be sitting pretty!

Hammer gimme a night and ill deodex it for you.

I seem to be inept at learning how to do anything development related, I tried my own hand at de-odexing and failed miserably, tried a month ago at compiling for myself, again, failed miserable (I blame my lack of ANY competent linux experience, I am such a windows whore... then again, I dont have nearly ANY of the issues that people push linux over windows for...)

Ill take all the help I can get!
