Default How to use full image as a wallpaper?

I'm trying to make a certain image my wallpaper, but want to capture the entire image and not crop any of it out or distort it in any way. What dimensions does it have to be in? One wallpaper made for this purpose at 480x854 worked, but it was a bad quality picture, when I tried another 480x854 image it wouldn't work. I was forced to cropping it. So how can I do this?

download flikie hd from the marketplace. after downloading go to your gallery and select your image. click more. click set as. click flikie wallpaper.

Another one (and my favorite) is QuickPic. When used to select a wallpaper it defaults to crop mode, but you can also select "No cropping", in that case the image is passed to the wallpaper setter directly.
