Default Hows the GPS work? / Does it connect to Wifi apps like Wireless Tether?

As above states, is the GPS getting a good lock? Are you able to connect and tether to a rooted Android phone using Wifi tether apps and NOT just the mobile hot spot function?

Rob

EDIT *** And does the notification LED illuminate or flash when receiving an email and such? I heard it's part of the power button ****

GPS works well. Tested it briefly today... I used GPS Status to get the aGPS data.

Connects to my phone via wi-fi hotspot... I don't run any wi-fi tether apps.

GPS on my Flyer (WiFi 16GB) works great, even indoors. It seems even more accurate than my iPhone 4.

This is what I'm curious about. If full navigation works with this over wi-fi tether I'm 100% sold.
