Very nice app.

The notification when clicked on should send you to the app in the Amazon app store if possible.
Also the first amazonish icon looks the best, the one posted a couple relplies ahead looks wonderful too, maybe make an option in the settings to chose which icon you prefer.
Altogether nice app, look foward to future improvements.

Thanks for the support. Im actually working on having the notification take you directly to the app in the appstore.

Auto Purchase

So any chance of an option to "auto purchase" the app? Truthfully, I "purchase" the free app of the day every day whether I think I need/want it NOW or not....I don't have to download it and may want it in future so why not?

That wouldn't be possible. Amazon just updated the app so that now there is a two step process to download. I prefer that. I have accidentally gotten apps that I never wanted just from browsing the Amazon App Store and accidentally clicking the buy button. Taking you to the app's page is much better. Gives you a chance to read up on the app before getting it.

Awesome idea.... One suggestion but if you can figure out a way to also include a notification for the Amazon MP3 album deal of the day I would be an EXTREMELY happy man!

Couldnt agree more, especially with the name of the app having Appstore aswell, someone could be in for a kicking from amazons legal boot

Just look at the tiff between Apple and Amazon over the Appstore name, I wouldnt like to get on the wrong side of either of them over an app name or icon

Great app though, so simple yet so useful, im always forgettig to checkup on the free app and missed some great ones.

How did you cheat the location? I saw some post on a thread in another forum giving details but still, "not available in your country" :(

amazon is fighting to make the "appstore" name generic. so if amazon wins the case, then any app can use the name "appstore" because it will no longer be considered a trademark-able term.
