Default [Q]

Hello All,

Thanks for the fantastic info on this forum. I got my first android device last week (coming from an iPhone 4), and I'm having a blast.

I've already rooted and I have been trying some custom mods.

I was using LeeDroid last week, including a custom kernel. Today I decided to give CM7 a try.

When you flash a new custom rom, is the kernel replaced as well? I'm assuming it is, but wanted to be sure I'm not running a kernel designed for LeeDroid on CM7.

Thanks again!

When you switch roms, you need to do a full erase prior to flashing a new Rom. This also removes the kernel. The new Rom should include the kernel. Or some roms allow you to flash different kernels.
