LOCKSCREENs EXPLAINED

Basic :
_Do not use Jkay's (nor EDT) app to change lockscreens use the LockscreenMenu in settings

_use Jkay app to customize power menu and Jkay 's lockscreen

_use Jkay app to turn on/off media control on Glasslock/ aosp and rotary lockscreen





4tab Lockscreen and MIUI explained :

The upper right tab / right handle (MIUI) has to be set using the custom app section of 'Lockscreen menu' in settings
You can set it to launch anything (folder shortcut or any application )
If you dont associate the tab with something it will soft reboot the phone when you use the tab
Both lockscreens will share the same 'custom setting'



Lockscreen Music Controls explained :

- MIUI - R2D2 - 4tab : Music controls will work with ANY music player except the stock samsung one

SGS2 - Epic - Glass - Puzzle - Aosp - Rotary : Music controls will only work with the stock samsung music player

Just want to point out that double tapping the lock (MIUI) will bring up music controls, cool feature and that MIUI works with Pandora !!!



SGSII lockscreen known issues :

Lockscreen Wallpaper can be set, but cannot be unset. This is because the Galaxy S 2 uses a different Gallery Application. To remove the Lockscreen Wallpaper and revert automatically to the default Wallpaper, delete this file
/data/data/com.cooliris.media/files/zzzzzz_lockscreen_wallpaper.jpg

FAQ OBSSESSION


Q: Is it compatible to the tw4 launcher?
A: Yes.it's even included.

Q: The dock icons are not changing on TW4.
A: To add apps on the dock, you have to go to the Apps Drawer, then press left soft touch button, select edit, and then drag the apps to the left of the 'Home' icon.

Q: I don't have crt animation nor transition animations.
A: Go to Settings/Display/Animation and check "all animations".

Q: I don't like the fonts provided by this theme.
A: Just install any other font you like.check out the flipfont thread.there is a huge collection: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=894397

Q: Some samsung widgets don't work.
A: Yes.That's a known issue of the provided tw4 launcher and will be fixed.The program monitor widget is already fixed and included in the tw4 launcher flashable zip.some others are fixed,too,grab them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=86

Q: When dragging icons from the app drawer on the mainscreen, they aren't glossy anymore.
A: The glassy overlay is only in the app drawer available.

Q: I changed the wallpaper to another.but now want to set the default one again.where can I get it from?
A: Please have a look at your internal storage.there is a folder called "Obssession Wallpapers" in which the default wallpaper and other hd wallpapers are stored.

Q: I cannot change the wallpaper for the sgs 2 lockscreen.

Q: I don't like the transparent lockscreens.How do I select a lockscreen background in the settings?
A: please open settings and go to display and then wallpapers.now click lock screen wallpaper and then gallery now you can choose a wallpaper.

Wow, this is freaky!
About 4hrs ago,while waiting for the link to his new theme to come online (...and just before I went to bed) I saw PaulDiddy's signature had the ROM "Obsession" and was going to ask about it. Instead after doing a search, I was lead to the Captivate forum...which lead to more questions...which lead to more confusion...which lead to me throwing in the towel and going to bed.
Sorry for the ramble, but I literally just woke up to this...
