It's not been released in most places, so if we get an OTA to unlock, the ROM it comes in has to be Vodafone approved (for those who currently have the device) so we need to wait for that! I bet HTC are working their ass off now to organise an OTA and sort the unlocked bootloader into an update, as well as sorting any other phones they are going to be unlocking! Big task ahead!
I'm with you pal ) I got mine from vodaphone this week, safe in the knowledge that the universe would conspire to get HTC to unlock it. But it will take some time to filter through to those of us who couldn't wait.
So far though I'm finding it better than my previous HD2 with android - faster, smoother, nicer screen, better data connection. I'm sure I can live with voda/htc bloat for a while since I do have dual processors and a bunch of RAM
Can't wait to see what this phone can do once it gets a custom ROM on it though.

Haha it's not that I'm being impatient (I don't even have this phone so a release date doesn't really affect me) but because the rom was released I was asking if they had already unlocked it (i.e so soon after the announcement)
We already have ROMs for a phone that's not even released in most countries except UK! That's the definition of cool! BTW, how did the developer unlock his phone to test his rom, XTC Clip or something? Well, I hope that the unbranded phones that are shipping on the rest of the world on June will be unlocked by default. And I'm really interested on how Vodafone will be ok to provide an OTA that will unlock the bootloader of their customer's phones and make them able to remove the bloatware?
As the sensation hasn't been unlocked yet I'm not sure it has been tested, but if it's a stock rom with just a few tweaks there's no reason it should work. But please correct me if I'm wrong!

The stuff that has been added to the ROM has been in mike's DHD ROMs for a while
It's stock with tweaks, so it should be pretty good to go right off the bat. Once the device is unlocked, then we can really test
My ROM is not released yet and someone already gave me one star. Nice, thanks
I had few jelous developers already in Desire HD thread, I'm not going to work here if some fu**** preak will rate my thread with 1 star one more time.
