Most important is that it will be tagged as "release-key", so it will be free from some extra debugging code that is included in all "test-key" releases. So it should be noticeably faster!

Checking DDMS ... with the Tag WifiService -

i see this repeating ...

Code:
03-01 11:28:08.093: D/WifiService(410): releaseWifiLockLocked: WifiLock{NetworkLocationLocator type=2 binder=android.os.BinderProxy@418181c8}
03-01 11:28:08.093: D/WifiService(410): updateWifiState(): enable hotspot
03-01 11:28:08.093: D/WifiService(410): updateWifiState(): stop wifi
03-01 11:29:07.281: D/WifiService(410): ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED pluggedType: 2
03-01 11:29:08.072: D/WifiService(410): acquireWifiLockLocked: WifiLock{NetworkLocationLocator type=2 binder=android.os.BinderProxy@418181c8}
03-01 11:29:08.072: D/WifiService(410): updateWifiState(): enable hotspot
03-01 11:29:08.072: D/WifiService(410): updateWifiState(): enable and start wifi
any thoughts ?

Let's wait for 6.4.0 and you'll see if the problem still persists.
