Hmmm... OK maybe copper slip instead?

Or tin the contacts with LEADED solder, using isopropyl to clean flux residue from the tin?

I tried it and here's what happens. Let's say I'm playing music with my earphones, volume at 100%, I lower the volume by one click, I feel like it lowers by 20%, then another click, it lowers a lot again, then the third click, no volume at all. At forth click, back to the volume it should be at (around 80%). This is the volume I hear, but the display bar of the volume is okay...

anybody had this issue? thanks
First time I have heard that after hundreds of downloads, but I will do some testing. Are you using the Finer Volume Control mod or the Finest Volume Control mod? Thanks!

I tried both, both are doing the same issue. I even reflashed every one to make sure... I was surprised two.

thank you!

edit: I just retried it again, I think it's working fine with the music app. But I never use it, I only use poweramp and it's still doing it again.

maybe just clean it carefully, lithium is really explosive and if you short the battery with IPA you're likely to cause a a big bang!

non metalic scouring pad should work.. but please be careful when messing around with battery contacts!

I've gone ahead changed it on my build.prop file, and i have to say my speed has improved by an increase of 1Mbps down.

Although I'm still not reaching my maximum potential. So far the max I've been able to download at is 4.03 Mbps.

When i stick my the same sim into my HTC Amaze 4G the max I've got is close to 18.07 Mbps down.

Thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, thanks!
First: that line appears twice in build.prop. Make sure you change both.

Second: that works well with this RCData file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40459588/PG58IMG.zip

You won't match GB speeds yet, but you'll get close.

Anyone tried out AROMA|Tweaks?

Saw it on the portal and will try it out when I get home. Looks pretty good but only states that it was tested on InsertCoin.

hmm im not great at reading these but there doesnt seem to be anything in there that looks bad. usually when there is a battery issue it causes kernel to panic and call for a shutdown but none of that, i cant see any phone shutdowns controlled or otherwise

was hoping for a bit more of a smopking gun! maybe someone can spot something ive missed?
