Faux have two kernels Mainline Edition and Ultimate Edition. The difference is just in the OC GPU right?

I think might be more, but this is the main diff I think.

read_ahead_kb is not being set at 1024 as desired, instead it remains at 512

I searched and found an answer but I just want to make sure about this.

Currently I'm running ARHD 6.5.1 XE

If I were to flash the newer version (of XE) on top of this without doing superwipe all my settings (home screen, system/app settings) and apps would stay the same correct?

Are there any issues that one encounters doing upgrades like this?

I come from the Vibrant where pretty much every update would wipe out the settings you previously had in the rom.
