Guys, don't you think that by flaming an ignorant noob who dared to ask for ETA with 5-6 responses, you are spamming the thread even more than he/she is?
Add to that my comment as well.

While I do see the point you are trying to convey I do it in the way so that not only to teach that it is impolite to ask for ETAs but to do it in a non harsh manner which many people usually do and bring a little humor to it.
Though it does commonly add 5-6 people responding to not ask for ETAs even if we responded with the proper response you will still see it 5-6 times because people click "respond" without the page being refreshed.

So funny, and true.. oh, guess you gota add mine to... It is my thought that those comments should be swept aside with no reply. If the user persists with the ETA request then action would be warranted.

Usually the DEV will post something telling when it will be up to date.
In our case Mike updates Post # 1 with the changelog saying the version and all the changes on it and will tell us when he is uploading it.
You will also see a following amount of posts telling him thanks
It will look like this (at the bottom of post 1) but the next version
Android Revolution HD 6.6.2
--- release date: 10 April 2012 ---
SuperUser by ChainsDD replaced with SuperSU by chainfire (latest version)
Possible to choose HQ Camera For ICS - v1.5 while flashing (Thanks to NODO-GT)
Other minor changes and fixes
- No need to Super Wipe if you have 6.6.x already!!
- 3.32.401.x firmware is required!
- 4EXT Touch Recovery is required!
- HTC Sensation 4G (U.S. T-Mobile PG5810000 | T-MOB010) users can flash this for better signal and data speeds!

Well that was a polite, informative answer. Now can you use the newspaper? Lol
