South coast of England. Must say for me it's been an improvement especially with regular calls.

here is the consumption, i think there is an improvement

auto-brightness is ON!
wifi was ON only during the night (but as you see it turned off itself time to time)!
pocket mode is OFF!
mobile network is ON!

Have you tried Chrome Beta on this Rom? It has seriois graphical issues. When I zoom in a page everything mixes up on page. No errors but can't see the content.
