I froze my O2x apps using the method described at modaco. I can't post the link, but just search for the post "Disabling stock apps on the G2 (and other NAND locked devices)"

Just use superoneclick to root your phone, and "adb shell" to execute commands.

There's no need to download or purchase any third party app.

What I've safely frozen on my O2x:

com.lge.CarHome
com.lge.sns
com.lge.osp
com.rsupport.rs.activity.lge
com.rsupport.input
com.rsupport.starter
com.rsupport.srn
com.rsupport.uinput
com.lge.android.worldclock.widget
com.lge.android.analogclock.widget
com.lg.appadvisor
com.lge.android.digitalclock.widget
com.lge.android.newswidget
com.infraware.docMaster
com.lge.fluidmedia

Don't freeze "com.lge.omadmclient". I don't know what it does but trust me when I say bad things happen when you freeze it. lol.
