I just gave it a shot on my HD2 running American Android with CM7.1 and Android version 2.3.4.

Every contact displays the message "Not Enough Information." There are 15 contacts with text messages. One has 616 messages, another has 90, another has 66, 35, 24, and the others are lower than that. It does not give any information for any contact, not even the 616 one.

It was right on with all the people I figured were stalkers. I text between 2 different phones on the same number, so that kinda hurts my data to work with. Guess I will try to keep the conversations of the people I'm more interested in on on phone. I'd be interested to see what it says about a few other people besides my known stalkers. Cool App!!

Hmmm...gingerbread must be acting up. I haven't been able to test on gingerbread other than the virtual emulator because the emulators don't have real data to work with. Looks like I will have to put gingerbread on my EVO and start testing.

It does sound like Gingerbread is becoming a recurring problem. Although, the good news is that it doesn't FC for me at all. :)

Okay, it doesn't look to be just gingerbread, because I was able to recreate it. It only happens in debug mode in eclipse for me, which is extremely peculiar. Anyways, I will check it out and hopefully get a fix soon. I have 9 errors pop up so far on it in the developer console:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: The specified child already has a parent. You must call removeView() on the child's parent first.

I can confirm this. I was having the same issue of not enough info before. I disabled debugging and found out my bf is stalking me.

Its the debugging mode alright. Disabled it and its working fine. Just wished I had this apps earlier when I had more text messages haha. Hope you don't stop development I'm this.

You are correct about the debug, it seems. I hope to see this updated to fix that little error. This is a pretty cool app. It's fun to play around with. Especially since I only have one person in my list with more than 100 text messages. God forbid I don't answer her one single time...

Well, I am glad that there is a work around. I will hopefully have a stable version out tomorrow and that it will fix the "Not Enough Information" errors that a few people are getting.

Also, for people with the "Not Enough Information" errors, you MUST have at least 5 text messages sent and 5 text messages received. If you are still getting it, then yes it is a bug and I will get to the bottom of it.

Well, the only ones that got accurately analyzed was my girlfriend's (go figure) and an old co-worker that I'm really glad is gone. But still an interesting app!

Keep in mind, the accuracy level is an important component of your results. With that said, it is far from perfect, but I will continue to improve it and I have lots of ideas/tweaks left for improving the results. Thank you.

    Update:

    - Facebook Integration has been added. It just needs some final testing and it will be good to go.

    - As for the issue with "Not Enough Information", I have a friend who is experiencing that issue, so they are going to bring me their phone and let me debug the issue. :)

I should have the new build out on the market this week. Thanks for the suggestions and error reports guys.

    Hello XDA,

This app allows you to find out who loves you, who hates you, and even who may be stalking you.

Basically, this app reads your text messages and puts them through various algorithms to determine your relationship status with each individual that you text that is both accurate and meaningful. The more text messages you have stored on your phone, the more accurate the analysis is going to be.

Note: this app only uses internet permission for ads. Your text messages are kept private and safe. There is a paid version available that is ad free and does not require the internet permission.

    Free Version w/Ads:
    Relationship Analysis

I think right now it does a pretty good job at analyzing your relationships with others. However, I keep improving the accuracy steadily, so it will get better over time.

If anyone has any thoughts, questions, or suggestions, feel free to tell me. I will definitely consider any improvements from you guys.

    Thanks,

    John

I tried it out and it is quite an interesting app but not knowing the algorithm i must say it seems a bit vague. It seems to be right for most of my relationships but I must say it is still not the most trust-able thing considering your description of how it works isn't very thorough. Perhaps if you detail how it works better more people would be willing to give it a try and believe the app more? Just my initial impressions. Otherwise, it is an amazing idea and if it truly is a working algorithm (which it seems to me although I'm sure other people's mileage will vary...) great job on being able to analyze a relationship from texts. Cheers, and good luck!

Isnt working for me on Optimus 2X with CyanogenMod 7. Gets FC before it could finish analysing.

Anytime, man. I'll probably keep an eye on this one for a while longer now that it's up and running properly. You've got some potential with this one. I hope it leads to more cool apps from you in the future.

Thanks. Once I get the features I want in this one, I have some even crazier app ideas that would be fun to implement. :)
