This is not true about CF-root.
It's because CF-root is a kernel from an original Samsung firmware, and just adds root, busybox, and ClockWorkMod (CWM4) recovery.
The flaw is in the Samsung kernel that only Ninpo has fixed in the ninphetamine kernel that means it doesn't underclock properly, means the phone is sleeping in higher voltage from the limit you have put.

So you maybe change volts and mhz but it won't scale to what you have set all the time.

I tried hardcore's speedmod and can confirm it doesn't work with that kernel either.

I want to be sure of not to make disasters.
I want to conservate battery and I want to use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=531
My kernel is the stock or the CF-Root one, but I've not understood if they are 100% compatible for my purpose. Max CPU clock will be 1270 Mhz, more or less, at 1200 mV.

Eventually, where I can find a list of compatible kernels or how can I know if a kernel I want to try is compatible?

Hi,

I bought the ultimate version and were using it for two days. Everything worked just fine but out of the sudden scaling does not work anymore. The CPU was limited to 200 mhz. According to CPU spy the clock rate went nevertheless up till 1200 mhz

I did a reinstall, nothing changed

Specs:
Samsung Galaxy S2
Android 2.3.3
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKE2-CL187606
Gingerbread.XWKE2

What elso can I try?

is that true?
can this be the cause for my phone restarting on its own and going into "deep sleep" (cant wake it with power button) even though i alrdy used much higher settings than what our bros have used?

I know this has been asked, Im using the paid app and I love it, but there are two things bugging me:

1: Profiles should include GPU clock/voltage. Its annoying to have to switch and set everything again each time.
2: The stability check which runs for 300 seconds each time you change anything, even tested voltages and clocks and profiles. There should be an option to disable it.

Other than that, I cant imagine myself switching from tegrak to anything else, keep up the good work.
