In my experiance, WIFI hotspot works when phone is connected to the charger, when running on battery WIFI hotspot disconnects connected devices short time after start.
Sony Ericsson LT18i - FXP CyanogenMod 10
Samsung Galaxy SIII - CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightly

WiFi hotspot worked for me. The big problem here was that if your screen gets timed out, the hotspot will disconnect. You need to increase the screen timeout time.

Maybe it's a NOOB question.
A friend of mine has the Experia Arc S.
How I can install the right version for this device?
I have understood the guide, I would know which version I should select, and if I have to do other operations. (I have read on the web that ARC S is equal to ARC, except for the processor, a custom kernel is needed)
Thanks
Nexus 4 16GB E960
CyanogenMod 10.1 M3

Nexus 7 16GB
ParanoidAndroid 3.XX

- Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (Dec 2010-March 2012)
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16GB (March 2012- March 2013)

There you can also find the CM9 (ICS) The nightly type is as stable as the other one. At the moment im using the most recent one (2012-04-21 00:55:59)

This is frankly the best rom for Arc... Hell, the best rom for Android. But the only problem is just the battery that consumes battery in idle as much as in use... I hope it'll be fixed! For the sake of a perfect rom!
