Been using this kernel (KI3) and now want to switch to another kernel, namely speedmod, my question is, are there any additional files/folders that get installed when this kernel is flashed, that would be no longer needed after another kernel was flashed, I've found /cfroot obviously, but wondered if there are any others that can be removed.

No need to remove anything. If you wanted to you could remove CWM app.....that one remains after you flash another kernel.

I know I don't have to remove anything, but I 'want' to remove anything that's left over, just like to keep my file system as clean as possible that's all.

Flash the one that matches your kernel version, KJ1.
