Just to say that I already had root via your previous insecure kernel and had no issues. But with CF-Root applied, IPtables is broken again and consequently breaks Droidwall. This same issue existed with my previous SGS handsets using your previous CF-Root's.
As you mentioned in OP, the CWM Manager remains when changing kernel. Is there a quick way to remove the CWM Manager app?
