second, for kernel, i prefer to wait new source code release by sam for new kernel with oc and other features and so also for cyanomod. I think it's the better choice for the moment. So more stable and so on..

But one only important thing, please, not leave the project about cyano on my own mini, please. And thanks

ok one question about the kernel. Why can't we use the standard linux kernel and override some stuff from the samsung kernel? i.e the drivers and modules

I have very bad news guys, my galaxy mini has just been hard bricked. It won't even recognise charging. I'm going to look for a service center here in Dar es salaam. Or if there's anyone on this thread in Dar who can help me jtag it. Or at least more info on how to solve this issue. didn't even get a chance to try the new andro-id
