[Q] Galaxy Tab 8.9

Just out of curiosity, since the hardware in the GTab 8.9 will be virtually identical to the GTab 10.1, is it safe to assume that we can use the stuff in this forum (ROMs, Mods etc) for the 8.9 as well?

Now that I have the Galaxy Tab 8.9, I'm curious about the same thing lol. I'm also patiently waiting for a separate forum for the 8.9 :) So far everything seems the same as the 10.1 other than the size lol (I had bought the 10.1 and then returned it after hearing the 8.9 was gonna come out). Only thing is some of the apps that are available for the 10.1 are not available yet for the 8.9 including netflix, and sideloading doesn't seem to work for netflix (doesn't let you play the movies). Other than that, it's the same Honeycomb 3.1 with Touchwiz.

It seem the same just two things:
1. It is locked error X004 using nvflash
2. DO NOT TRY TO LOAD CWM BY ROM MANAGER IT WILL SOFTBRICK / HARDBRICK (I said hardbrick because we dont have md5 file with actual firmware to recover from softbrick with ODIN)
