To download the new KE4 use the input from Hong Kong and It will be downloaded directly from Samsungs server (same as Kies).

I am running a custom and rooted ROM. If I flash one of these over my custom ROM, will it unroot?..In short, will it have any adverse effect?

Yes, if you flash a stock rom it will always unroot.

Im getting the current error on KIES :

"This version of the device cannot be updated"

Im using your code from the third post.

Can you dial *#1234# and compare it with the one you had choose.

Guess you you using the guide on second post? Have you done all the steps?
