Default VTL Launcher is a No Go on the A500

VTL is a tablet oriented launcher based off of the ADW Launcher; I tried it on my GTab, and really wanted it on my A500. But after I installed it, the first time I did a reboot it hung up and would not come out of boot, no matter what I did. I had to plug in a USB keyboard and do a complete factory reset. I tried the launcher again to make sure that's what locked it up, the results repeated. So until it's ready for the A500, don't try it unless you are ready to lose everything with a factory reset.

**EDIT** In the OP it states it's not ready for Honeycomb yet, didn't notice that the when I scanned over it the first time. I'll update when it is Honeycomb ready.

I experienced the same trouble but I am able to get out of it. It appears to hang during the boot process with "Android" in the center of the black screen.

I found that if I tap repeatably on the screen it will bypass the screen lock and start with whatever I tapped on already open.

This looks like a really nice launcher. I hope they get this bug fixed and have it working in Honeycomb very soon. That is the future of tablets afterall

I tried it awhile back and had the exact some problem of hanging on boot (never noticed the warning about not ready for HC. I did save my tablet by booting into cw and using adb to go in and remove the launcher manually and then it booted right up.
