An update for BLN control is available in the market. After I updated I could run a test successfully!

Just grab "pimp my CPU" from XDA, and you can set your max freq. to 1.2GHz.

Hm no, it's not a JVP issue. With Stock Kernel (or supercurio stock+hacks lagfix kernel) it works great. With Speedmod and DarkCore Kernel the same thing -> screen brightness only changed while display is turned off and on again.

So it's kernel related.

I cannot confirm this, with darkcore and speedmod the autobrightness works as on stock.

With JVP?! I don't think so. Just read the SpeedMod kernel thread.

I tested all kernels and with speedmod t7 and darkcore 2.7.3 autobrightness doesn't work. Then i flashed supercuios stock+hacks kernel and autobrightness worked.

I think u will find this is a JVH issue. this kern + others you used i am sure are jvh based with jvp bits to make it work
Where as Supercurio's kern is stock jvp+hacks to make it work with ext4 rooted etc.. :P

Unfortunately, only the test from the BLN app works. Otherwise, I get nothing for gmail, sms, etc. I don't know what else I have to do to get this thing up and running

Are there any known issues with BLN and NoLED?
