Grab kernel JW4 and flash on JVU/JW1/JVZ/JVW ROM?

Sounds just as tempting as jumping into a black hole...

1. try:
flashed xxjw4 kernel -> bootloop

2. try:
flashed semaphore 2.5.1 again, cleared init.d in es explorer, and dalvik cache in recovery
flashed xxjw4 kernel -> bootloop

Seems not compatible with xxjvu.
ROM: I9000XXJW4 (Android 2.3.6)
Kernel: Semaphore 2.7.4bmfr
Semaphore Script Manager v0.75

The reason for asking, is just educational (for me at least).
I would like to know where are the changes for this huge difference in available memory.

Thanks for your time.
Just a guess from a noob, they optimized the gpu driver. So maybe also a chance to get the more ram in ics.

Tried.

JVU + jw4 kernel no boot and JW1 same.

Can't we see difference if samsung doesn't share sources?

Can we modify this kernel by just repacking zimage? I'm researching about this. I want to make a bigmem version of JW4 kernel with 30 mb more maybe? Which means 394 mb lolz (maybe more less)
