5.0.2.7 is a grate recovery but it does not want to work thru rom manager.

Simply replace the .img in an existing pc49img.zip without unzipping it.

I tried flashing the img file using flash_image command from terminal on phone. Now it gets stuck on HTC splash screen if I boot into recovery. Haven't tried fastboot yet.

fastboot should work better,provied that you have S-OFF and that the img file isn't broken.

Ok i'll try fastboot. Of course I have unlocked bootloader!
