Default [Q] Need help to root Acer Iconia Smart (Android 2.3.3)
Hi,

I have my hands on a new Acer Iconia Smart (S300) running Android 2.3.3.

I haven't been able to root it using the usual methods (Z4, universal androot, superoneclick or Gingerbread).

Can anyone help me find a way to get root an share the system files to the community ?

Anyone interested in TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP)? I've build an initial test version:

To figure out how to mount the internal sdcard, can someone run the following commands on their device?

adb shell  
su
cat /proc/mounts
cat /proc/emmc
ls -lR /dev/block | busybox egrep
