Default [Q] Wondering about performance gain in Recovery with dual core processor

Does anyone know how much faster stuff like nandroid backups and ROM flashing would be with a dual core processor rather than a single core processor? Any difference in speed at all?

don't forget part of the speed issue is the speed of the sd card used. The dual core should help you more with running other apps while doing titanium backups or the like.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I did a nandroid backup today with my Transformer and it felt no faster than my single core Evo.

Never thought about that but great question! With as much ROM switching as I did with my EVO it would be great if backup/restore/flash/etc speed was enhanced.

I think those things are limited by the read and write speeds of the SD card.

DONATE TO ME
Backups on the Transformer take FOREVER. Way longer than they ever took with my EVO.

The SD card is the bottleneck. Backups and flashing went much faster for me when I replaced my class 4 card with a class 6 card. I can't see where they will be any faster, from what I've read in various places, the 3D has the same max SD speeds as the 4G.
